Company History
Starlight Studios was founded in 2010 by Alistair Finch with a simple vision: to bring cinematic quality video production to businesses and individuals alike. Alistair, a seasoned cinematographer with over 20 years of experience, started the company in a small garage in Stellar City, California. His initial focus was on filming local events and creating promotional videos for small businesses.
In the early years, Starlight Studios relied heavily on word-of-mouth referrals. Alistair's dedication to quality and his ability to capture the essence of a story quickly earned him a reputation for excellence. As demand grew, he brought on Eleanor Vance, a highly organized and efficient project manager, to handle the increasing workload. Eleanor’s meticulous approach and dedication to client satisfaction were instrumental in scaling the business.
By 2015, Starlight Studios had outgrown its humble beginnings. The company moved into a larger studio space at 42 Galaxy Avenue, Stellar City, CA 90210, equipped with state-of-the-art cameras, lighting, and sound equipment. This expansion allowed Starlight Studios to offer a wider range of services, including commercial video production, corporate video solutions, and animation.
In 2018, Jasper Sterling, a talented editor with a keen eye for detail, joined the team. Jasper’s expertise in post-production elevated the quality of Starlight Studios' videos, making them even more engaging and visually stunning. His ability to craft dynamic and compelling narratives from raw footage became a defining characteristic of the studio's work.
Over the years, Starlight Studios has had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to local non-profits. Some notable projects include a commercial campaign for Galactic Motors, a training video series for AstroTech Industries, and a documentary film for the Stellar City Historical Society. Each project has helped shape Starlight Studios into the dynamic and innovative video production company it is today. The studio has won several awards for its outstanding work, including the Stellar Award for Best Commercial Video in 2022.
